Our prayer is that this site will serve as a tool to share the great news of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Our mission is to share this message by: 

• Welcoming all in a spirit of Christian fellowship and love, 
• Inviting you to share in the celebration of the Eucharist, 
• Sharing as a family in Christ Jesus, and, 
• Hearing the Word of Christ and living it's message 
  

 Our Church in Mississippi is in its infancy. It is our hope to reach out to those who believe as we do building a parish or (with God's help) several parishes in Mississippi. 

 We have an ordained Old Catholic priest who performs Mass every other week.  We hold a Eucharistic Celebration on weeks when our pastor is out of town. 

We hold Sunday Mass at 1 p.m. at St. Alexis Episcopal Church 650 East South St. Jackson, MS.

We, the Old Catholic Community of Saint Mary Magdalene - The Apostle, proclaim to all the unconditional love of God.  We share a set of ancient beliefs, rich historical traditions and a dedication to renew the sacred in our daily lives.

Our mission is to carry the gospel, sacraments, and God's love to all including the unchurched, the alienated, and the disenfranchised. We accept people where they are, as they are, without judgment or condemnation. We welcome everyone to the Lord's table and we value the dignity of each human being without reservation. We strive, with God's grace, to live truly authentic Christian lives.

We are a Catholic Church whose roots stem from the Utrecht Union of Old Catholic Churches.

We trace our roots of Lineage back to the Apostles, like the Roman Catholic Church, the Orthodox Churches and the Anglican Churches.

However, we reject the doctrine of Papal Infallibility which only came to be followed in the late Nineteenth Century.

We strive for the Catholic Church of the early days, and trace our roots back to it. 

We believe the Eucharist is the center of our faith - where the bread and wine is transformed into the Body and Blood of Jesus Christ for all to share. 

We believe in the Seven Sacraments: Baptism, Confirmation, Eucharist, Reconciliation, Anointing of the Sick, Holy Orders, and Marriage.
